Cli.py

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 24, 2026

This policy describes how QuantumCore Systems handles information when you use Cli.py Creator Studio, a hosted service for creators who authorize their own TikTok account and choose to publish videos.

Information TikTok provides

When you authorize Cli.py, TikTok returns an account identifier, access token, refresh token, and authorization expiration information. Cli.py requests the basic profile and Content Posting API permissions shown on TikTok’s authorization screen. The service uses creator information such as your TikTok nickname and available posting settings to prepare the post interface and confirm that the current choice is available.

How Cli.py stores authorization

Access and refresh tokens are encrypted before they are stored in the Cli.py service database. Encryption keys and the TikTok client secret are held in the service’s private configuration and are not sent to your browser. When you select Disconnect in Creator Studio, Cli.py deletes its stored tokens and publish-status records for that account. You should also revoke the app in TikTok’s account settings to end its authorization.

Video and post information

The selected video is transferred over HTTPS to the Cli.py service when you submit the form after reviewing the required TikTok declaration and giving consent. The service temporarily stores the video to check its duration and make it available to TikTok through a short-lived signed URL. The file is deleted when TikTok reports a terminal publishing status or after four hours, whichever comes first. Captions, privacy choices, interaction settings, and commercial-disclosure choices are sent to TikTok as part of the post request. Publish IDs and account identifiers are retained while you remain connected so the service can retrieve posting status; they are deleted when you disconnect.

Information visible to TikTok

Cli.py sends authorization requests, account tokens, the selected video, caption, and post settings directly to TikTok’s services to provide the requested integration. TikTok processes this information under its own terms and privacy policy. Your browser, network provider, and the service’s hosting provider may also process technical connection information, such as IP addresses, request times, and security logs, as needed to operate and protect the service.

Retention and your choices

Authorization tokens and posting status are stored until you disconnect your account. Temporary video files are removed after each publish attempt. To request help with information associated with your account, contact hello@quantumcore.systems. Revoking TikTok access does not delete content already published; manage published content through TikTok.

Security

Cli.py uses HTTPS for service traffic and encrypts stored TikTok tokens at rest. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not share authorization codes or private account access.

Children and policy changes

Cli.py is not designed for children. We may update this policy when the service changes; the current version and its effective date will be posted here.
